MIDWEST LEARNING CENTER

Midwest Learning Center is a thoughtfully developed environment that combines the education and socialization of adolescents who are seriously "at risk".

Our on-site school serves children at Farmington Children's Home who have fallen behind in their education while struggling with the effects of abandonment and abuse. Teachers work with small groups of children giving the attention they need to catch up to their grade level, as well as to address their therapeutic needs.

Children's Foundation of Mid-America has a strong relationship with Farmington School District who provides curriculum and educational staff for the school. When the student has progressed sufficiently in his treatment, he attends public school.

Located on the campus of the Farmington Children's Homes, Midwest Learning Center also houses residential units, counseling services, a resource center/library, nursing, recreation areas, food service and administrative space.
