Women's Auxiliary
The Women's Auxiliary for Regional Girls' Shelter is a wonderful group of women who help the girls at the shelter. This group host two annual fundraisers - a Spring and Fall Cards and Cuisine to raise money to support the girls and our programs. They use the money raised to provide for the personal needs of the girls (prom dresses, passes to the pool in the summer and more).
The women support our staff by doing many staff appreciation events including monthly lunches and recognition on birthdays and staff anniversaries.
They also directly support Children's Foundation of Mid-America with large cash donations each year.

Regional Girls' Shelter Advisory Board recently hosted the 7th annual Valentine Gala in Springfield, Missouri.
Jamie Taylor, Development Director for Children's Foundation of Mid-America, Nancy Chappell, Advisory Board President, and RGS Site Director, Leslie Snyder enjoyed the celebration of success of young women at Regional Girls' Shelter.
