Young women at Regional Girls’ Shelter find a gentle, loving environment where they know people really care about them. Compassionate professionals help each girl and her family work to strengthen family bonds.
Admissions:
- Services available for Level II & III
- DMH & Children’s Division
criteria
- Ages 12-21
- Seven day-a week admissions available
- Admissions criteria determined through phone interview, assessment materials and document review, and in some cases by pre-placement visit.
Services Provided:
- Female only setting
- Three-phase program progressing toward permanency
- Treatment plan and tracking
- All contracted obligations
- Safe, home-like setting
- GED, Junior College or Vocational Technical School
- Program focus on practical, social and occupational function
- Psychiatric/Therapeutic and Medical/Dental maintenance with Medicaid assistance
- Family intervention
